Critical thinking and media literacy

 

Critical thinking refers to the ability to analyze and evaluate information and arguments in a logical and systematic manner. It involves questioning assumptions, identifying biases, and considering alternative perspectives. Media literacy, on the other hand, refers to the ability to understand and critically interpret media messages, including those from traditional media and digital platforms.

Today, we are surrounded by a lot of information—news, videos, social media, and messages. But not all of them are true.

That’s why we need critical thinking. It helps us ask questions like: Is this source reliable? What is the intention behind this post?
